It is not too early to join a group. Your child may not be able to socialize yet, but you will be able to meet some women who are going though the same things you are and may have solutions for problems that you haven't tried yet. Or you may enjoy a morning/afternoon of adult conversation. At some point, your baby will begin to play, and you will have a group of similarly aged children, who you are both familiar with and are meeting up with on a weekly basis.
